I had an honor to photograph Epica this Thursday.  They are a symphonic metal band from the Netherlands.  The harmony of Simone Simons’ beautiful voice and heavy sound were unique and amazing.  It was exciting to capture their performance and I felt the great power from them. 

The shooting was challenging as always.  The pit was crowded with photographers and videographers, and there were some restrictions for shooting. 

But I think I managed to capture their energy.  Hope you enjoy!  What a pity it is that I couldn’t see “wall of death”!  I had to leave the venue after 3 songs.
